Connection of external equipment

DVD input sockets (option)

1. Connect the DVD output sockets (Y Cb Cr, Y Pb Pr, Y B-Y R-Y

or Y P

B PR) of the DVD to the DVD/DTV IN sockets (Y PB PR) of

the set.

2. Connect the audio cable from the DVD to DVD/DTV IN AUDIO

sockets of the set.

3. Press the TV/AV or MULTIMEDIA button to select

4. Press the PLAY button on the DVD.

The DVD playback picture appears on the screen.

DTV in sockets

1. Connect the SET TOP outputs to the DVD/DTV IN sockets (Y

PB PR) of the set.

2. Connect the audio cable from the SET TOP to the AUDIO sock-

ets of the set.

3. Press the TV/AV or MULTIMEDIA button to select

Headphone socket (option)

Insert the headphone plug to the headphone socket of the set. You

can listen to the sound through the headphone. To adjust the head-

phone volume, press the

button. If you press the MUTE but-

ton, the sound from the headphone is switched off.
